1999 Bridge Creek-Moore F5
[edit]The Fujita scale rates that F5 is ~216-318 mph, so anything above 318 mph would be F6. The Bridge Creek-Moore tornado was recorded to have windspeeds around 321 miles per hour, so shouldn't it be an F6? Lizardman1222 (talk) 21:03, 21 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Lizardman1222: For all practical purposes, the Fujita scale rates tornadoes based on damage rather than wind speed. It is listed as an F5 in NWS records as well. TornadoLGS (talk) 21:39, 21 January 2025 (UTC)
